One of the most promising transfers in Tottenham Hotspur's history has finally left the team, with most fans sorry to see him leave.
Earlier today, Spurs' Twitter feed revealed that Dutch striker Vincent Janssen has agreed terms to join Liga MX team Monterrey. Los Rayados, as they are known in Mexico, are the current CONCACAF Champions League holders. Added to that, the team from the Northern Mexican border is considered as one of the main candidates to win the Liga MX title.
Terms of the agreement were disclosed by the Mexican press, with reports stating that Rayados paid over $21M for the player's services.
Here's how Tottenham Hotspur shared the news of Janssen's transfer.

We wish Vincent all the best for the future.
Surprisingly, despite the player's low goalscoring tally, fans were disappointed to see the player go. Here are some of their reactions after the club shared the news about his transfer to the Mexican top flight.
I can't be the only one who loved him. Throwback to him celebrating a pre season tournament win like we just won the champions league . Good luck Vinny pic.twitter.com/4eJXPVhZ8E

Best of luck Vinny, such a shame it never worked out the player as he always gave his everything and tried his best in the games he played however he was never really up to the standard of where the club is now.

Sincerely hopes he now goes on to rekindle his career in Mexico.
All the best Vinny. Sorry it didn't work out for you here but thanks for the effort!

Wishing him all the best. Gave it his 110% all the time but it just didn't work out. Time to give Troy Parrott the number 9 shirt.
