The Blaugrana are yet to make an official move.

La Liga champions Barcelona is yet to make a formal approach for PSG's Neymar Jr, according to reports. The Spanish heavyweights are expected to make a sensational swoop for the Brazilian star who has made his intentions to depart from the Ligue 1 outfit clear.

Neymar Jr has been a subject of heavy transfer speculation in recent months and the 27-year-old winger is currently at war with PSG as he aims to force a move back to La Liga. Although his desire to reunite with Los Blaugrana remains an open secret, Les Parisiens have threatened to make things even more difficult for the former Santos prodigy if the need be.

According to a recent report, the stringent measures the French capital club looks to implement includes freezing the attacker out of any footballing activity until his current runs out in 2022. While the punishment will not come cheap considering the player's massive wage, the claims suggest that the club is willing to deal whichever consequences that arise in the process.

In the meantime, claims that PSG has received a bid from Barcelona for its most-prized asset has been debunked. Earlier, multiple Spanish media outlets reported that Thomas Tuchel's side have been offered €40 million plus Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.

As per ESPN, the claims are fabricated as although talks have began, no offer has been made yet by the Spanish outfit. Nevertheless, PSG is willing to accept a player plus cash offer if the Catalans include either Philippe Coutinho or Nelson Semedo.

While all the parties involved await significant progress to be made, Neymar has returned to PSG for the preseason camp. The Brazilian ace appeared a week after his initial arrival date and, as a result, missed out on featuring in his side's clash with German side Dynamo Dresden on Tuesday.
