The Brazilian footballer will add one more team to his resume after failing to extend his contract at PSG.

Brazilian right back Dani Alves was crowned as the 2019 Copa America MVP, and that reputation may get him one last big deal to increase his tally as a trophy winner.

With that in mind, and considering that the 36-year-old footballer has been linked to several clubs due to his free agent status, it might not come as a surprise to anyone to see Premier League teams fighting for his services.

Alves was unshockingly linked with a move to Manchester City, where he would team up one more time with Pep Guardiola. Nevertheless, Alves seems to favor a move to Arsenal, where he'd join forces with Unai Emery, who he worked under at PSG.

According to a report by The Sun, Alves is ready to join the Gunners as soon as possible, with the footballer even considering to take a paycut to see his EPL dream coming true.

Alves stated last year that he did not want to retire without having played for a Premier League team, and Arsenal seems to offer him the best conditions to fulfill that dream. In fact, the former Sevilla and Barcelona ace is willing to reduce his weekly wage from $285,000 to $248,000.

Arsenal has not been able to finalize deals due to their shortage of money. Maybe Alves' arrival will put an end to their transfer woes during the ongoing window.
