The Swedish ace is still enjoying life in Los Angeles, but he knows that the Lion will need to rest in the near future.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic knows that his time as a footballer will come to an end sooner or later. At 37 years of age, the Swedish ace is currently enjoying himself at LA Galaxy, but that might not last long, which means he needs to plan ahead and start thinking about what future will hold for him once he hangs his boots.

Speaking of which, Zlatan has finally stated what he'd like to do once he retires, which would see him stay close to the world of football. Contrary to what some may expect, Ibrahimovic does not want to become a coach, since he would favor a career behind the front desk of a team.

Speaking to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Ibrahimovic admitted he would love to go back to Ajax and be in charge of the team's academy and first team.

"Ajax is still 'my' team in the Netherlands, and I'm proud to be a part of their history, especially after watching them play in Europe. They did something no one expected, and to see the way in which they keep producing players is wonderful," Ibrahimovic stated.

The Swedish ace went on to admit his desire to return to the Dutch side, even if he is not keen on moving back to a place where he has lived previously.

"Usually I don't return to my former clubs, but maybe, when my career is over, I can return to an executive position at Ajax," the outspoken star added,

Before the interview concluded, Zlatan aimed a slight dig at Ajax's execs and went on to confidently state how he would top their accomplishments.

"I'm sure that I could do a better job than that of the guys that currently work there," Zlatan concluded.
