The former Blaugrana winger risks the fury of his current club with his response.

Neymar Jr's purported move to Barcelona has been an open secret for a while now and the Brazilian superstar has arguably outdone himself this time around with his comments in a new video that has been making waves on social media.

On Saturday, the 27-year-old forward sparked fresh transfer speculation with a short Instagram video which showed a black-and-white image of himself wearing a Barcelona shirt and a quote from the Bible.

While its intended message was quite obvious, the timing was a tad bizarre considering the public relations company of the ex-Barca star issued a statement confirming that he will join PSG's training camp on July 15.

Meanwhile, in the mix of Neymar Jr's series of stunts, another video that has emerged on social media could further worsen the rift between the Brazilian star and his current employers.

Speaking to Oh My Goal at the Red Bull Neymar Jr's Five event, the former Santos prodigy reckoned that Barcelona's 6-1 comeback win over PSG in the Last 16 of the 2016/2017 Champions League campaign stands as his favourite memory in his professional football career.

"My best memory as a footballer? There are two moments," he said.

"Firstly, when we won the Olympics with Brazil.

"Secondly, the 'remontada' against Paris. What we felt when we scored the sixth goal… I never felt something like this. It was incredible.

"When we won against PSG with Barca, it was completely… we all went crazy afterwards. I believe it was the best possible feeling for all of us."

Neymar's statement in the video will certainly infuriate PSG fans while it primarily indicates that his spell with Paris Saint-Germain may well and truly be over. The Brazilian superstar who joined the Ligue 1 outfit for a world-record transfer fee of 222 million euros ($250.17 million) in 2017, already faces sanction for failing to show up at his side's pre-season training earlier this week.
