The Englishman recently put pen to paper on a new four-year deal with the Red Devils.

Marcus Rashford put to bed the rumors linking him away from Man United by signing a new deal at Old Trafford. His current contract will keep him at the club until 2023 and will hand him a significant pay raise.

While the Englishman is nowhere near becoming the highest-paid player in the Premier League, his current wages rival those of Paul Pogba. The 21-year-old will pocket £300,000 per week including bonuses, which translates to $379,000 every seven days in USD.

This means the Three Lions star is expected to earn a whopping $19.7M per year to remain at the Theatre of Dreams. This, of course, means the English giants have fended off interest in Rashford, mainly from Barcelona.

The Blaugrana were rumored to be after Marcus in their search for Luis Suarez's heir and were willing to test the player's commitment to Man United with a mega-money bid. However, he is now agreed to a new four-year deal with the option to extend by another 12 months.

He only managed 10 goals last season in the Premier League, 13 in all competitions for the Red Devils, but enjoyed a rise in form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The 21-year-old will continue to work under the Norwegian icon as Man United aim to return to the Champions League next season.
