The Bundesliga champions have set their sights on the Frenchman with a move for Sane now looking unlikely.

Bayern Munich is reportedly keen on signing Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele. The 23-year-old Frenchman has now emerged as a priority signing for the Bavarians whose move for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane has seemingly hit a snag.

At the moment, the German international looks set to renew his contract with the Citizens despite previous claims suggesting his potential departure. Talks of his probable move to the Bundesliga have cooled down in recent weeks after the Munich outfit decided not to meet the Etihad outfit's 80-million-pound valuation of the attacker.

In view of that, Bayern is ready to go all out for Barca's Ousmane Dembele who has been tipped for a move away from Camp Nou this summer. The French winger joined the Catalans from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth 95 million pounds but has failed to live up to expectations.

With Barcelona reportedly in the market for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann as well as PSG's Neymar Jr, the Spanish league champions are willing to allow a host of key names in their ranks to seal moves elsewhere. According to RAC1 in Spain, Bayern Munich has made first contact with the Camp Nou outfit and the player's agent.

Nonetheless, the negotiations are not expected to be concluded soon as the Bundesliga champions will only expedite action should Griezmann and Neymar arrive at Barca successfully.
