Another moment of magic for the Egyptian King!

Sunday's clash between Uganda and Egypt finally got real following a moment of brilliance by Mohamed Salah. The 27-year-old forward was called into action to hand the Pharaohs the lead after a keen contest in the first 36 minutes of the proceeding.

Both defenses proved resolute attack after attack and the status of the encounter could have been different had Uganda been more clinical having threatened the most. Nonetheless, Mohamed Salah who had not done a great deal with the game approaching half-time was gifted the perfect opportunity to break the deadlock completely against the run of play.

The Liverpool talisman won a free-kick about 25 yards away from goal and perfectly sent a clean strike over a static Uganda wall into the top right goal of the post. The strike was his second at the ongoing tournament having gotten on the scoresheet in the second group encounter with DR Congo.
