Shortly afterwards, the World Cup winner borrowed Donald Trump's famous two-word line, slamming these claims as "fake news".

Regardless, this will do little to stop the transfer rumors. A few outlets profress that he has asked for a transfer in a bid to force a move to Madrid. At the Bernabeu, he would work under French icon Zinedine Zidane and would team-up with summer signing Eden Hazard but it's hard to see the attacker leaving the domestic-treble winners this early in his career.
