What are the odds of Senegal winning the 2019 AFCON?

As one of the top seeds for the tournament, Senegal comes into the 2019 AFCON as a huge favorite. This is backed by the Teranga Lions' wealth of creative, attacking resources and bullish defense capable of keeping teams on the fringes.

On paper, the group stage should be an easy ride for Sadio Mane and his compatriots. That withstanding, the real test lies in the knockout phase where the likes of Egypt, holders Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, and Morocco, among others, will all be in the mix gunning for the trophy.

Should the Teranga Lions pull together when confronted by any of these powerhouses, an inaugural Africa championship title could end up in the bag. That is to say, their strikers will be required to replicate their forms at their respective clubs considering all seven of them; Ismaila Sarr, Keita Balde, Mbaye Niang, Moussa Konate, Mbaye Diagne, Sada Thioub and Sadio Mane, go into the AFCON with a whooping 112 goal accumulation.
