With the slogan "Talent takes different shapes", Barcelona launched their kit for the 2019-20 season.
While the kit keeps the Blaugrana color palette, along with the Catalan "senyera", the new jersey will see the La Liga champions put their usual design to rest. No more vertical lines on the jersey, as the team and American kit manufacturer Nike have opted to use a pattern that resembles a chess board.
Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Pique and members of the female team were part of the launch in a video posted by the club on social media.

Unfortunately for the marketing division, the first reactions to the kit were not positive, as fans blasted the club for leaving their usual pattern in favor of the checkered-flag design.
Not only we got embarrassed in back to back champions leagues because of Valverde and Bartomeu. You have to add this embarrassing kit as well. It's like these two people really hate Barca.

In fact, the Croatian National Team also joined the party by mocking the new design.
