The German boss did not hold back when being asked about Guardiola's thoughts on the continental competition.

Pep Guardiola's words comparing the UEFA Champions League to winning a treble had Jurgen Klopp giving his opinion on the matter, and he did not hold back when having to aim a slight dig against the Spanish boss.

Speaking in the pre-UEFA Champions League Final Media Day, Klopp hit back at Pep for his thoughts on what was harder: to win a treble or to win a UEFA CL title. According to Pep, winning a treble is much harder, and Klopp replied to him with a cheeky statement.

"Well, he has to say it. He must say that her prefers to win the Premier League because it's been a while since he has been involved in a UEFA Champions League final," Klopp said.

The German tactician has had his fair share of controversial quotes against Guardiola, which comes as no surprise when you read these words.

Speaking about the game, Klopp shared how luck could have a massive say in the outcome of the game, especially after two straight UEFA Champions League appearances.

"We know how tough it can be in football to reach back-to-back finals. There can be moments of good and bad luck, and we need to react differently without changing your style of play," Klopp said.

The former Borussia Dortmund coach shared an insight on his team's state ahead of Saturday's big game.

"The boys have left everything out there to get to this point. We will train pne more time tomorrow, and we will get to this match fully prepared," Klopp concluded.
