The figure asked by the Brazilian ace seems to be pushing him further away from a move to the Bernabeu this summer.

If Real Madrid wants to sign Neymar, Florentino Pérez will have to spend more money than he ever imagined.

Neymar's future at PSG seems to be far from secure, and Real Madrid's president is still trying to lure the player away from the French capital. Nevertheless, the Brazilian's wage demands seem to be a bit over the top, even if it is Neymar we're talking about.

According to Diario As, there are two reasons why this move could happen. First, the turmoil generated by PSG's recent results, and added to that, the alleged bad relationship between the player and coach Thomas Tuchel, could see Neymar leaving the club. However, Neymar's wage demands are massive, even for a club like Real Madrid.

The Spanish newspaper has revealed that Neymar has demanded a $1.5M wage weekly to join Los Blancos, who would also need to pay over $250M to PSG in order to make the deal happen. If things went Neymar's way, he would end up collecting over $72M yearly if he joined Real Madrid, aside a number of bonuses that will surely be included in the player's deal.

Even if Real Madrid was not able to sell any of their players this summer (namely Gareth Bale), the club would still be able to pay Neymar's wage. However, there seems to be a reason behind the footballer's demands.

According to As, the player wants to play one more season for PSG before he embarks on another adventure. As' sources revealed that Neymar is obsessed with winning the UEFA Champions League with Les Parisiens, but if he missed out on it one more time, he'd be willing to leave for a relatively "smaller" fee.

As things stand, it seems rather unlikely to see Real Madrid trying to lure Neymar away to the Spanish capital, but the summer transfer window is just about to be opened, and anything can happen in the next couple of months...
