After their Champions League embarrassment, the Blaugrana is ready to make big changes to their squad during the summer.

Barcelona could secure back-to-back doubles with a win in the Copa del Rey final, but their season is considered to be a disappointment for the most part after their Champions League exit.

The European title was the piece of silverware highest on their wishlist but an embarrassing 4-0 loss at Anfield ended their hopes for the treble. The club is now planning for a busy transfer window, with the likes of Griezmann and De Ligt set to join De Jong at Camp Nou next summer but several names will be headed for the door to make way.

According to SPORT, as many as nine men could be sold ahead of the overhaul. They are Philippe Coutinho, Malcom, Jasper Cillessen, Jeison Murillo, Thomas Vermaelen, Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitic, Rafinha, Ivan Rakitic, and Kevin Prince Boateng.

Of the aforementioned players, Coutinho, Malcom, and Umtiti are the biggest names on the chopping block. Former Liverpool star Philippe has endured a torrid time since leaving Anfield for the Blaugrana 18 months ago and has even been booed by the home fans while his fellow Brazilian attacker has struggled for playing time. As for the French World Cup winner, injuries have kept him on the sidelines and it's Lenglet that now partners Pique at the back.

Fitness issues have kept Vermaelen and Rafinha on the sidelines while little will question the decision to let Boateng and Murillo go. Cillessen will start in the Copa del Rey final but his desire for more playing time will force him to leave.

Of the nine aforementioned players, Rakitic is the likeliest to stay. Nonetheless, the right offer could make the Catalan giant reconsider that position. Furthermore, with De Jong set to arrive, the Croat could go from a regular to a benchwarmer.
