May 23, 2019 By Oscar Rojas
Both sides struggled to get to this stage of the competition, but this will surely be a clash to be remembered. Follow it with our detailed guide.

¿Con qué racha llegan Tigres y León este partido?

Tigres enters this match on a four-game streak without a loss in Liga MX games. Ferreti's side has won two and drawn two more, but they have only kept one clean sheet during that streak. Tigres' last loss at home in the CONCACAF Champions League final, against Monterrey.

León has won four out of their last five away games. Their only loss came against Chivas in the next to last regular season game, and since that loss, León took home the win against Tijuana (3-1) and América, two crucial wins to make it to the Liga MX finals.

¿A qué equipos vencieron Tigres y León para llegar a la final de la Liga MX?

Tigres made it past Pachuca due to their position in the Liga MX standings after a 2-2 aggregate in their Quarterfinal matchup. Then, Ricardo Ferreti's side faced Monterrey in the semi-finals, where they also needed the Liga MX standings' rule to eliminate Rayados from the competition.

All in all, Tigres have won only one of their games, with two draws and one loss completing their record in the Clausura 2019 playoffs.

León eliminated Tijuana in the Quarterfinals, thanks to their 5-2 aggregate win. Their semi-final tie was a bit different, as América came close to eliminating the league leaders. Eventually, León prevailed and made it to the final with a 1-1 aggregate, with the Liga MX standings' rule being the tiebreaker.

León has won three of their four games in the Clausura 2019 playoffs, with only one loss during their title run.
