Negotiations to see the Dutch starlet join Los Blaugranas are not flowing, and the La Liga champions are not willing to wait for the player's decision.

Barcelona is not willing to extend transfer talk regarding Matthijs De Ligt further, and the Blaugrana side have made a decision regarding the highly-talented center back.

The footballer, who is seen as one of the top-rated defenders in the world for years to come, has seen contract talks with the La Liga champions come to a halt, mainly because of his wage demands. Now, Barcelona execs have come out and said to the 19-year-old player that there will not be any changes to the deal initially offered, and if he insists on trying to earn more money, the club will not pursuer his signing.

The main problem for Barcelona right now is that De Ligt is being tempted by Juventus, Manchester United and Bayern München, to name a few, and all of those teams have offered the defender better terms. With those numbers in mind, according to Catalan newspaper Sport, the Dutch center back wants to negotiate a similar deal with Los Blaugranas, or else, he will take an offer from the aforementioned clubs.

Contrary to popular belief, agent Mino Raiola has been trying to ease the tension between both parties, but he is looking after his client's best interest, which is currently away from the Blaugrana side.

De Ligt is expected to make a decision regarding his future right after the end of the UEFA Nations League comes to an end, but it seems that despite what experts believed, the Dutch intertnational may be headed away from the Camp Nou this summer.
