The Spanish side will wait until the end of the Bundesliga season to make the announcement, in order to keep the footballer focused on his current team's goals.

Following Eder Militao's signing, it seems that Real Madrid means business when speaking about their upcoming re-building process.

Los Blancos have finally landed a suitable replacement for Karim Benzema, as Luka Jovic is set to be unveiled as the team's new option at No.9 next week, according to Spanish newspaper As. Jovic is set to join the Bernabeu outfit after the Spanish giants agreed to pay Eintracht Frankfurt a bit over $60M, with 20% of that fee going to Benfica due to prior transfer arrangements.

The 21-year-old has scored 17 goals for the German side this season. The Eagles are still in contention to earn a spot in the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League, which is why Real Madrid has chosen not to take a stance on this subject.

As of now, Eintracht is sixth in the Bundesliga with only one game to be played; if they want to enter the continental competition, they will need to beat Bayern München and hope for losses or draws by Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen, both currently above them in the German top flight with 55 points.

Jovic also played a key role in Eintracht's semi-final run in the UEFA Europa League, where he scored 10 goals in 14 matches for the German side, where Chelsea eliminated the Eagles after a grueling penalty shootout. With these numbers in mind, it's no surprise to see the striker as the third highest-rated striker in the Bundesliga, behind Robert Lewandowski and Timo Werner.

Jovic recently signed a permanent deal with Eintracht, which will allow the Eagles to cash in on this transfer. Meanwhile, the club will try to seal their spot in the UCL with a crucial win, that could also open up a chance for Borussia Dortmund to win the Bundesliga title.
