Speaking to Sky Sports, the former left back hinted the reasons why his compatriot has been slammed by Manchester United fans recently.

With the Premier League season over, the future of several footballers will be under questioning in the upcoming weeks. Such is the case of Paul Pogba, who has been linked with a transfer to Real Madrid, and judging by what Patrice Evra said, it seems that we have seen the Frenchman's last game at Old Trafford.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Evra admitted that his compatriot might be on his way out of the Red Devils, especially because of the bad relationship he has with Manchester United supporters.

"I think Paul will leave, because he doesn't feel the love from his team's fans," Evra said.

The former left back hinted that Pogba should be held responsible for not connecting with Manchester United's fans.

"He should show commitment. If Paul decides to stay another year or a few more years and then leave, then maybe fans will show him a bit more love, because they will see his commitment," the former defender stated.

A shirtless Pogba listens to the insults from Manchester United fans right after their 2-0 loss against Cardiff on Sunday.

Then, Evra turned his sights towards Alexis Sánchez, who he characterized as a "mercenary".

"Some players come and go just for the money. I'm not afraid to say it. I have nothing against him, but when I saw that deal I could see Manchester United's legacy falling apart," Evra stated.

The Frenchman recalled how his signing with the Red Devils took place, taking advantage of the moment to aim a fresh punch at the Chilean.

"He had an offer from Manchester City, he was going to earn less money, but he would have played a better brand of football. So, why did he choose Manchester United? Please don't tell me it was because he loved the club since he was a child," Evra added.
