Will Chelsea book their spot in the Europa League final? They are just 90 minutes away from achieving this.

Current form: Chelsea vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Simply put, a win over Eintracht Frankfurt at Stamford Bridge will see Chelsea through to the Europa League final. Even a scoreless draw will be enough for the Blues thanks to their away goal in Germany last week, but naturally, Maurizio Sarri's men will want to win this match. The London giants come into this game in improved form, having ended their winless run in the Premier League with a victory over Watford last weekend to leap-frog Tottenham into third spot in the league and thus have pretty much consolidated a place for themselves in the Champions League for next term.

Nonetheless, winning the Europa League would certainly get a lot of the critics off Sarri's back and give the ex-Napoli boss some major validation as he has never won a single piece of silverware in his entire career. Olivier Giroud, with his 10 Europa League goals, will be hoping to match or possibly surpass the 11 netted by Alan Shearer during the 2004/2005 UEFA European Cup as he holds the record for the most scored for an English club in this competition.

Standing in his way of the final are Eintracht Frankfurt, who have been one of the surprise packages of this season's Europa League and the German outfit will not want to go away without a fight. Adi Hutter's men have been quite impressive all term and up until recently, were largely unfallible, so Chelsea clearly know that the visitors will present a stern challenge when they arrive at Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.

Key for them will be Luka Jovic, who has scored nine goals in the Europa League this season. The Serb's output is the most for any Eintracht Frankfurt player in club history - but will he be able to have an impact at Stamford Bridge?
