Barcelona's exit from the UEFA Champions League was as shocking as last year's, but fans seem to have identified someone who needs to be held responsible for his actions (or lack there of): Ernesto Valverde.
Winning La Liga and the Copa del Rey saved his job last season, but fans seem to have had enough of his tactics. Once again, the Blaugrana side dropped a three-goal lead away from home, and Valverde's approach on the game is being held accountable.
His first substitution came when Barcelona were already down 3-0, which made fans even more angry. To make matters worse, his choices when resting most of his top players during the weekend saw Ousmane Dembelé picking up one more injury, which was also crucial when preparing today's clash.
On social media, the hashtag #ValverdeOut became a trending topic quickly. Have a look at some comments by fans and experts.
