Solskjaer urges Man United execs to sell duo for over $260 million

Added to those transfers, the Norwegian boss has named the footballer he's chosen to build his squad around for next season.

With the 2018-19 Premier League season coming to an end, Manchester United needs to think abou their future.

This season ended in disappointment for the Red Devils, and coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already named two players he wants to offload. Since the team will need cash to bring in new players, the Norwegian boss has asked the team's hierarchy to part ways with Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku.

Both players have been approached by Real Madrid and Inter Milan for a potential transfer, and since the team will need money to sign new players, Solskjaer would like to see both footballers leave for no less than $260M.

Paul Pogba seems to be closer to a transfer, since he has allegedly held advanced talks with Real Madrid for over a month. In fact, agent Mino Raiola brought contract extension talks to a halt, since he feels certain that his client will end up signing with Los Blancos, according to a report by The Mirror.

Pogba, Lukaku, Alexis Sánchez, and Anthony Martial are allegedly on Solskjaer's first transfer away list, with the latter failing to impress the Norwegian boss during his five-month spell at Old Trafford.

Added to that, Solskjaer has reportedly named the footballer who he's chosen to build his team around for next season. Keeping up a team tradition, Scott McTominay will have a key role in the team next season, and Solskjaer wants him to step up and lead the team for years to come.
