In our match preview informing you how to watch Arsenal's clash with Valencia, we compare team statistics and analyze their head-to-head record.

What is the form of Arsenal compared to Valencia?

Arsenal may have won three in a row in the Europa League, including home and away wins over Napoli in the quarter-final, but their form has taken a huge dip. The Gunners are currently on a three-game losing streak, all of which came in the league.

As for Valencia, they have lost their last two games. Both of those defeats came in La Liga but the Spanish outfit still boasts four wins in their last six games in all competitions.

Arsenal vs Valencia head-to-head record

Unfortunately for the north London outfit, their record against Valencia is nothing to be proud of. This will be the sixth encounter between the English and Spanish sides, with the Gunners winning only one of those five previous run-ins (D1, L3).

Arsenal vs Valencia injuries/suspensions

Emery has quite a few injuries for Thursday's game. Mesut Ozil and Nacho Monreal, who are struggling with foot and calf issues, are a doubt for the first leg. Aaron Ramsey remains on the sidelines, while Denis Suarez is out for the remainder of the season.

As for the visitor, they have a few worries of their own. Cheryshev and Kondogbia are both injured while Coquelin is suspended and will thus not face his former side.

Key talking point - which top-four hopeful will keep their Champions League dream alive?

The goal for both Arsenal and Valencia is to get promoted from the Europa League and get into the Champions League for next season. Unfortunately, the odds are not on either team's side.

With only two rounds remaining in the Premier League, the Gunners sit in fifth spot, two points behind Chelsea. Given their form, the odds of them overtaking the Blues appear unlikely.

Blanquinegros, meanwhile, sit in sixth spot and trail fourth-placed Getafe by three points with only three rounds remaining. While breaking into the top four isn't out of the question for either side, winning the Europa League looks to be their best route into Europe's top-tier competition.

However, with four teams still battling it out for the trophy, both teams have a few hurdles left. Will it be the English or Spanish outfit that will overcome them? Only time will tell.
