The women's Albiceleste side has not been as successful as the men's team. Can they change that this summer in France?

What is Argentina's history in the FIFA Women's World Cup?

This will be the third World Cup appearance for the Argentinean National Team. Their previous performances in this competition were rather baffling, since they are still looking not only for their first win, but for their first point. The Argentine team made it to the 2003 and 2007 editions of the tournament, and in both of those tournaments they were only able to score one goal. The only difference between their Women's World Cup appearances was that La Albiceleste conceded three more goals in the 2007 edition, where they allowed 18 goals from their rivals.
