EPL Matchday 36: TV Listings, full fixtures including Manchester United vs Chelsea

April 25, 2019 By Oscar Rojas
All fans will keep an eye on the clash between Red Devils and Blues, but they will also need to keep tabs on what happens with Liverpool and Manchester City.

The English Premier League returns in full throttle this weekend. Each team has three games left to play before the 2018-19 league concludes, and there are still several things to be settled, such as the last team to be relegated and more importantly, the league's champion.

Speaking about the title race, Liverpool will play this week's game on Friday, in order to get sufficient rest before their clash against Barcelona. Meanwhile, Manchester City will travel to Turf Moor, where Burnley will try to have a say in who wins the title. As of now, Guardiola's team is one point ahead of Liverpool in the title race.

Saturday's games will feature Tottenham, still fighting to end the season among the top four. Chelsea and Arsenal will try to take advantage of any potential slip-ups by Pochettino's men. Regarding the battle to avoid relegation, Cardiff will visit Fulham this Saturday, while Brighton prepares to host Newcastle in a crucial game for both teams' hopes.

Without further ado, let's take a deep look into the match of the week.

Match of the Week - Manchester United vs Chelsea

The Red Devils have one last chance to end the season among the top four, but they must beat Chelsea in order to do that. Solskjaer's men lost a big opportunity when they faced Manchester City on Wednesday, and their final chance of success will come when they host the Blues on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Chelsea is fourth in the competition, three points behind Tottenham and one point ahead of Arsenal. A win for Sarri's men would surely improve their chances of a top-four finish, but dropping points would seriously jeopardize their options, mainly because they only have one home game left.
