The Red Devils could miss out on some key players if the team can't end the season among the top four Premier League clubs.

The end of the 2018-19 season will be tense for Manchester United fans, especially with their top four spot insecure as of now.

In that fashion, there has been a lot of talk about possible transfers in and out of the club, but there could be some more names added to the transfer away list if the club fails in its attempt to play UEFA Champions League games next season.

A source consulted by The Mirror hints that three players are seriously considering to leave Old Trafford if the club does not reach UCL spots. One of them is, unsurprisingly, Paul Pogba, who has been linked to Real Madrid since Zinedine Zidane took over as Los Blancos coach. The other two players are David De Gea and Romelu Lukaku.

The Mirror's source reveals that all three players have similar reasons for wanting to put an end to their stays at Old Trafford. Not being able to secure a spot in next year's UEFA Champions League would be enough reason to ask for a transfer, but there's one more reason to see all of them leave the Red Devils.

Pogba, Lukaku, and De Gea are not ready to see their wallets getting thinner, and that would be the main reason for them to leave. All of them will see their weekly wages diminish by 25% if the team fails to reach UEFA Champions League spots, and judging by the team's recent form, it seems more like a certainty.

Rumors keep circling around Manchester United due to their dismal season, and in the event of a loss against Manchester City on Wednesday evening, you can expect much more of those.
