Current form: PSG vs Monaco
Shockingly, PSG come into this game winless in their last three. That includes two consecutive back to back defeats to Lille, and most recently Nantes. While it has not impacted their standing on top of Ligue 1, the fact remains that before their last two games, Les Parisiens had lost just one game in Ligue 1 all season. Now they have lost three, with two coming in just three days, during which they conceded eight goals.
Monaco, for their part, are also winless in their last three games. The visitors come into this match having drawn two of those matches and sit in 16th spot, just four points above the drop zone. It's been nothing short of a bitterly disappointing season for Les Rouges-et-Blancs, and it feels like ages ago when they won the Ligue 1 title. Injuries have not been kind to the team, who are now back under the tutelage of Leonardo Jardim after they opted to part ways with ex-striker Thierry Henry, and despite being undefeated in nine of their last ten Ligue 1 games, they are really still struggling to put some distance between themselves and the bottom three.
While they are not in the drop zone, there is still a major feeling of concern among Monaco fans, as another bad patch of games could see them slip down into the unwanted relegation places. Although PSG are in a rut lately, they are nonetheless the heavy favorites to come out on top here, and Thomas Tuchel's side will certainly want to take out their frustrations on someone after their bad performances from their last two games.
