Manchester United winger Nani has admitted that losing the Premier League title to Chelsea last season was a massive pain to accept and he insisted that he doesn't want that to happen this season.
Liverpool host Manchester United this Sunday in a very crucial tie that could determine both their seasons. United will be looking to bounce back after that defeat to Chelsea with Nani admitting that losing the title to the Blues last season was a real disappointment for him.

"We want to win the league every season. You don't get tired of winning trophies,” he told the club's official website.

"When I went on my holidays last year, the first week I couldn't stop thinking about how we lost out in the league to Chelsea.

"Thankfully there was the World Cup so I had something else to look forward to. This year, there's no World Cup, so I know it could be a very long summer.

"I don't want that to happen. I want to be on holiday with a big smile because I've won at least one trophy."

The Portuguese winger also revealed that he had always believed in the phrase 'Practice Makes Perfect' ever since he was a kid.

"When I was very young I used to go to the local square where we played football and practice alone," Nani continued.

"Sometimes I would spend all afternoon there, practicing with my right foot and then with my left foot.

"I'd practice curling the ball, hitting it hard. I always wanted to improve. Now I know that all my hard work has paid off.

"It doesn't matter to me which side I play on because I am confident of beating my opponent on either side and I can cross and shoot with both feet."

While Nani has been one of United’s most consistent performers, he was unable to have any major impact in the defeat to Chelsea. Nonetheless, United will be hoping that their star winger will be able to pull the strings when they face Liverpool at Anfield this Sunday.
