Chelsea will look to complete part two of their two-legged quarter-finals task as they welcome Eastern European minnows Slavia to Stamford Bridge on April 18th. Live Soccer TV's match preview provides match facts, team news, and global broadcast listings for Chelsea vs Slavia.

How they got here: Chelsea vs Slavia

Chelsea huffed and puffed a bit, but a late, late goal from Marcos Alonso was enough to break down a stubbornly defensive Slavia Praha and give the Blues the away goal they needed to head to Stamford Bridge with a much needed advantage. As has been noted previously, the Blues are featuring in the Europa League for only the second time in their history, and this is the first time they have taken part in the competition from the very outset.

It's been pretty smooth sailing so far for Maurizio Sarri's side, and given that the ex-Napoli boss has never won a title in his career to date, he has clearly earmarked the Europa League as his focus for his first season at Stamford Bridge. The Blues were nearly perfect in the group stages, save for a surprise 2-2 draw on matchday six with Eastern European outfit Vidi, but picked up 16 points from a very easy group to easily top their quartet.

The knockout rounds posed little trouble for Chelsea as they brushed aside Swedish side Malmo 5-1 on aggregate in the round of 32 and humiliated Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kiev 8-0 over two legs in the round of 16 without breaking a sweat.

Could fans see a juicy London Derby in the final? Fellow London powerhouse Arsenal have one foot in the semi-finals thanks to their 2-0 win over Napoli, and unless if they totally lose the plot at the Stadio San Paolo, the Gunners will be through.

As for Slavia, well, the odds are truly against them as they have won just two of their last five away games in the Europa League. Still, if they can score at Stamford Bridge - and that's a tough ask - things could get a lot more interesting indeed.

Current form: Chelsea vs Slavia

The Blues need to get back on track quickly. They come into this game having suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss to Liverpool last round, which knocks them off pace in their quest to seal a top four berth, and it ended a three game winning streak in the league for Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Slavia are crusing along in the Czech First League with a comfortable lead over Viktoria Plzen.
