Nantes ended a three game losing streak by picking up a hard-fought 2-1 win over Lyon last round last Friday, and considering that Lyon are battling for third in Ligue 1, it was indeed an impressive result. The hosts find themselves in 15th spot heading into this clash, well clear of the drop zone and certainly will be fancying their chances at causing an upset. On paper, it may seem like a tall prospect, but given how poorly PSG performed last weekend, it may not be totally out of reach.
As for the visitors, they are still firmly in control of the Ligue 1 title race, and with a 17 point gap over the chasing pack, it's not a matter of if they will win the title, but when. However, Les Parisiens suffered a shock 5-1 drubbing at the hands of second-placed Lille last weekend, and given that Thomas Tuchel's side were eliminated early from the Champions League this season, the pressure is certainly on the German tactician to get back to winning ways quickly here.
PSG will be feeling really short of confidence, however, ahead of this trip. Shipping five goals in one game is something that they are not used to, as domestically they are more used to cruising to victory and they come into this game winless in their last two Ligue 1 fixtures. Will Nantes be able to take advantage of a team who are also missing more than a few star players due to injuries and suspensions?

Both Thiago Silva and Thomas Meunier are out after suffering injuries during that same match. Neymar has returned to training but is not likely to be risked for this game.
