2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup broadcast info

Official global broadcast guide for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup: fixtures time, dates, TV and streaming schedule

April 11, 2019 By Oscar Rojas
May this be the definitive guide for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup, a tournament that can be deemed as historical for several reasons.

The 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup will show a new face to fans around the world, given the number of changes in this edition of the regional tournament. Teams from this confederation had several ways to reach this tournament, which will give back a better show for fans watching the games live, via the TV sets or on their mobile devices.

For the first time in history, this tournament will be played by 16 teams. Six of those sides made it to the competition after playing for a 2018 FIFA World Cup ticket. The remaining slots in the competition were handed out in the CONCACAF Nations League Qualifiers, increasing the amount of teams from Central America and the Caribbean.

In order to reach a wider audience, CONCACAF determined to have four games of the tournament being played in Central America and the Caribbean. Costa Rica and Jamaica will be the first nations outside of the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, to host Gold Cup games, with two games being hosted by each of these countries.

The 2019 Gold Cup champions will go on to face the USMNT to determine which CONCACAF side will represent the region in the 2021 Confederations Cup, unless FIFA's plan to cancel the tournament in favor of a revamped FIFA Club World Cup take place.
