Despite Watford's incredible comeback win, the Hornets captain could not let Jimenez's mask celebration go.

Sunday saw one of the most memorable FA Cup semi-final games take place. Watford and Wolves locked horns in the last four in what turned out to be a thrilling game.

Nuno Espirito Santo's men, this season's surprise package, were leading 2-0 by the 62nd minute and appeared well on their way to the final. However, the Hornets pulled off a remarkable comeback, winning the game 3-2 in extra-time to book a showdown with Man City.

Troy Deeney was the man to score the equalizing goal in stoppage time courtesy of a penalty. However, despite his heroics, the Englishman was irritated by a particular moment in the game: Raul Jimenez's goal celebration.

The Portuguese ace scored Wolves second goal in spectacular fashion and proceeded to celebrate his effort by putting on a luchador mask. Deeney admits that he did not see this move until catching a replay after the game and thus blasted the 27-year-old.

"I genuinely didn't see that until just now," the Watford captain told BeIN Sports (as per Goal).

"There's a bit of me that wants to say something nasty, but I won't.  But I'm glad he put that mask on, he can wear it out as well now that he's a loser. Enjoy the mask, but we got the victory.

"Don't get me wrong, he's a top, top player. I was him and I think he's very good, he plays the nine position on his own really well.

"I didn't see the mask thing, so I'm kind of glad I've only seen it now because I probably would have lost my head if I saw that. I think you've got to wear the mask and do all that stuff when you know you're going to win the game."

After the unforgettable weekend wins, Javi Gracia's side will now prepare to face the almighty Man City in the final, which should take place next month. The Hornets' next game will be in the Premier League where they will host Arsenal on Monday.
