The 28-year-old forward has pour cold water on rumors of an impending move to La Liga.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard has denied claims that he is on the verge of joining La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid this summer. Los Blancos, who are long-time admirers of the 28-year-old attacker, are reportedly weighing up a move for him but the Belgian international insists that there is nothing substantial in the speculation.

Eden Hazard will be entering the final year of his contract at Chelsea this summer and has been identified as one of the players on the radar of Real Madrid who is set for a massive overhaul this summer. The return of Zinedine Zidane as the club's manager has further fueled the agenda of the Spanish club going all-out for the Chelsea star consideration the relationship the pair has.

Nonetheless, Hazard, who is currently on international duty with Belgium, has debunked rumors of an imminent switch to Real Madrid. Speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of Belgium's EURO 2020 qualifying encounter with Cyprus on Sunday, he said: "There's nothing in the reports.

"I'm only focused on [Sunday's] game against Cyprus. That's all I'm thinking about."

Having made his debut for the Red Devils at the age of 17, Eden Hazard will be making his 100th appearance for his country in the upcoming encounter. His overall goal tally across all competitions stands at 29.

"It would have been nicer to be playing [against Cyprus] in Belgium but the calendar determined otherwise," he added.

"I'm happy that in my 28th year I have reached the milestone. It has been a great experience to date and hopefully it will not end just yet. I'm still feeling good and still have a lot of pleasure to wear the (Belgian) shirt.

"What am I going to do with it? I fear it will land up in my garage along with the trophies that I've won."
