Neymar and Mbappé get slammed by PSG outcast's mom

Neymar and Mbappé get slammed by PSG outcast's inner circle

March 19, 2019 By Oscar Rojas
The rumors about some privileges enjoyed by the Brazilian ace were confirmed in a recent interview.

Everyone in the world knows that you can count on family to support your decisions, and Adrien Rabiot's mother has certainly done so without caring about the consequences her famous son may have to endure.

Speaking in an interview with L'Equipe, Rabiot's mother looked into her son's current situation with Les Parisiens, who have left him out of every game since he refused to sign a contract extension. Furthermore, the player's involvement in a party, which took place hours after PSG was eliminated from the UEFA Champions League, sparked fury from his employers, who banned him from entering the team's facilities to train.

In the interview, Veronique Rabiot revealed the causes why her son decided not to join the team in their mid-season camp held in Qatar, which seem quite understandable from a certain point of view.

"My son is a prisoner at PSG, he's a hostage. The only thing he asked was to see the end of his deal. They sanctioned him because he chose not to travel to Qatar when his grandmother died and his dad was about to die. He is a hostage," Rabiot's mother stated.

Veronique elaborated on her previous claims, stating that not all of the players are treated equally by PSG's execs, aiming a dig at Neymar and Kylian Mbappé.

"There are some players that have not been sanctioned for arriving six minutes late to a team meeting, or there are those that get to travel around the world to attend the carnival, even if they are injured," in clear reference to the French and Brazilian strikers.

After being banned from training at PSG's complex, Rabiot has made personal arrangements to stay fit, especially with the summer transfer window around the corner.

"I'm not ready to say how or where, but he is training. A top-performing player can't stay thirteen days without a training session," Rabiot's mother added.

Last, but not least, Veronique Rabiot ended her rant with one more dig at the club, following their decision to ban Rabiot from their training facility.

"He can't play for them, but they can control his personal life even if they don't want him around anymore? They want him to put on his pajamas and go to sleep at 9:00 p.m. right before the games? These people don't know anything about how players need to have a life," Rabiot's mother concluded.

The player has been linked with a high-priced move to Barcelona and several EPL teams. With only three months left in the season, his current ordeal at PSG could be over soon.
