Inter Milan seems to have had enough of Mauro Icardi's transfer saga. The Italian side has taken the bull by its horns and finally agreed to reveal a meeting between Giuseppe Marotta, team exec, and the footballer himself. They were joined by Icardi's partner/agent Wanda Nara, who had been in charge of negotiating the player's new deal with the nerazzurri side.
Contract negotiations were stalled for almost a month, following Icardi's reluctance to play for the team since Luciano Spalletti stripped him from the captain's armband. Today, the club took a step towards trying to reach a deal that satisfies both parties, according to a tweet by the Italian side.

While there was no official statement on what happened during the meeting, Argentine news websites revealed that Icardi has requested to have the captain's armband back, but neither the player nor the club have commented on this petition. Either way, it seems that the meeting will be the first of many, with the player's future linked to some top-caliber clubs in Europe such as Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
