It was not the best game between Real Madrid and Barcelona, but Blaugrana fans will have reasons to look back at this game and smile.
Ivan Rakitic provided the seventh consecutive goal for Barcelona at the Bernabeu (considering last season's match and both games that took place this week), which also expanded their lead over Los Blancos in La Liga to twelve points. Now, Barcelona's lead seems unsurmountable for the Spanish capital side, but there is more insult to add to this rivalry after what happened on the pitch today.
The Catalan side broke the "tie" between themselves and Los Blancos with their win today, but also managed to do something that no other team in La Liga history had been able to do.
"What did we learn after El Clásico? - First time since 1932 in which Barcelona leads the overall record against Real Madrid. - First time in history in which Real Madrid loses three straight games against Barcelona at home (all comps)."
¿Qué dejó #ElClásico?

If those were not enough reasons for Barcelona fans to celebrate, they will be happy to know that their team is the first one in history to take home consecutive wins against Los Blancos in such a short period of time.
"Barcelona has become the first club in football history to win twice against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in just over 72 hours."
#OJOALDATO - El Barcelona es el PRIMER CLUB en TODA la historia del fútbol que le gana DOS VECES al Real Madrid en el Santiago Bernabéu en tan solo 72 horas.

Now, imagine how things could have been easier for Los Blaugranas if Sergio Ramos had been sent off...
