The Portuguese boss has been without a coaching job since he was sacked by Manchester United back In December.

Jose Mourinho is desperate to return to the dugouts. The Portuguese boss has come clean about his current job as a pundit, and even though he enjoys sharing his knowledge on TV, he is ready to get back to what he does best.

Speaking in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mourinho revealed being calm during the current hiatus in his career, but when the time comes, he will be ready to return to coaching. Meanwhile, he will enjoy his current TV appearances

"I'm in a moment of my life in which I analyze what I see and what I read. I'm looking around, I study my surroudings and have a good time when I go on TV. I'm enjoying a moment of peace, but at the same time, I'm dying to come back," Mourinho said.

The coach admitted that the drive to win is the reason behind his desire to return to coaching, especially after the last 18 months without winning any silverware.

"I am the same guy I've always been, I'm used to win something year after year since 2003. I only interrupted that rhythm in the past 18 months. It hasn't been 18 years since the UEFA Europa League title with Manchester United, and there's a growing desire in me to come back as soon as possible," the coach added.

Even though he's been linked with PSG or a possible return to Inter or Real Madrid, Mourinho did not reveal where he will continue his coaching career. Mourinho did state the kind of team he wants to lead.

"I'm looking for a team where there's total empathy, where there are committed players that are eager and happy to work," the boss concluded.
