The 32-year-old has many worried after his awful display against Lyon, leading to rumors that the club is searching for his successor.

After his disappointing display in the goalless draw with Lyon, claims that Barcelona is looking for a replacement for Luis Suarez have been pouring in non-stop. The Catalan giant is now being linked with two promising attackers.

As per the Sun, one of those two targets is Nicolas Pepe, the Ivorian sensation racking in rave reviews in Ligue 1 this season. The 23-year-old has impressed for Lille this term, scoring 17 goals and assisting another 11 in all competitions.

These stats have landed him on the radar of several top European clubs, namely  Premier League outfits Man City, Liverpool, and Arsenal. The Gunners are seen as his biggest admirers, but with a $94M asking price, the Blaugrana will have the financial advantage over the north London side.

The other name being linked with the Spanish Primera Division champion is Man United starlet Marcus Rashford. This according to Mundo Deportivo; however, this move has been labeled as Barcelona's "impossible dream".

The Englishman had initially been tipped to leave Old Trafford during Jose Mourinho's reign. However, the Three Lions ace has emerged as a key figure in the club's resurgence under Solskjaer, scoring six goals under the Norwegian to become their main attacker.

The 21-year-old is now reportedly happy at the Theatre of Dreams and is close to signing a new deal with the Premier League giant. Furthermore, Barcelona accepts that it would likely take around $117M to make this dream come true.

Nonetheless, Valverde's side has now joined Real Madrid with their interest in Rashford. Whether this deal or the previous one goes through remains unknown, but the 32-year-old Suarez being the only senior number nine at Camp Nou is an issue that needs solving.
