The Welsh striker is officially back.
Gareth Bale helped Real Madrid end Atlético's unbeaten run in La Liga by scoring the third goal in Los Blancos' 3-1 win at Wanda Metropolitano. Bale's strike came after a nice through ball by Luka Modric, which the Welshman controlled and placed into the lower left-hand corner of Jan Oblak's net.
What made that goal special is that Bale joined an elite goalscoring list by finding the back of the net for 100th time with the Spanish giants. After such an injury-plagued stint with Los Blancos, Bale has finally made it past the 100th goal barrier.
Gareth Bale has scored his th goal for Real Madrid in all competitions (217th appearance).

Bale is the 20th player in Real Madrid history to reach such a milestone. He is one goal short from surpassing Chilean striker Ivan Zamorano, and he could also leapfrog Brazilian legend Ronaldo if he can score five more goals this season.
