The Brazilian footballer will re-join Cristiano Ronaldo with the Old Lady this summer, according to reports in Italy.

Rumors about Marcelo's future have been circling around for months, but now, it seems that Juventus is ready to put quite a bit of money behind their interest for the defender.

The Brazilian ace has fallen down Santiago Solari's pecking order, with Sergio Reguilón taking over as the team's regular left back. Such a move has forced Marcelo to ask for an exit this summer, if an offer for his services arrives to Real Madrid's front desk.

That offer will come from Juventus' offices, according to Tuttosport. The bianconeri are ready to offer Marcelo $12M per year for the next three seasons. But before he signs his deal with La Vecchia Signora, Juventus is ready to make a $45M bid for the player's services.

While the offer seems a little low considering Marcelo's resume, the player's age and his expiring contract with the Spanish giants would work favorably for Juventus, who would not have to splash cash to sign the player and keep their options open in the summer transfer window.

Marcelo's departure would also solve a problem for Real Madrid. Some players seem to have outstayed their welcome and have created a complicated environment in the team's locker room. The player's exit would give Real Madrid a chance to cash in on a player that is past his prime, giving Florentino Pérez a chance to boost his team in the summer, where Real Madrid is expected to sign quite a few players.
