Members of the Spanish media were involved once again in controversy, as Sergio Ramos and Isco dismissed claims about a bad relationship on social media.
According to a report by TV show "El Chiringuito", the bad relationship between Ramos and Isco had reached a point in which the pair could not even bear to talk with each other. This claim responds to several accusations against Isco in the past months about his reckless behavior and a bad relationship with coach Santiago Solari, which was addressed by Ramos earlier this year.
Yesterday, an Instagram post by Real Madrid's captain was used by Isco to clarify the situation in rather sarcastic fashion. Ramos could be seen in a meditative posture, with the caption "Big challenges ahead. Let's do this!"
Isco's reply was aimed at those members of the Spanish media that scattered the news by asking Ramos "Have you heard the news about us not talking to each other? The kind of thing you find out about nowadays!"
Isco's reply earned over 15,000 likes since the moment he published this comment.
The pair is not expected to feature from the start in Thursday's Copa del Rey clash against Girona.
