Kobenhavn midfielder Jesper Gronkjaer believes his team have the ability to beat Chelsea and cause a massive upset.
Kobenhavn have performed well in the Champions League this season and Gronkjaer says that he was aware of the possibility of meeting Chelsea in the knockout stages.
"I knew that Chelsea were among the teams that we could draw and it would be something special to play against them again," the former Denmark international told UEFA.com. "Chelsea were probably the team we did not want to play against because they play very physically.
While Chelsea might be the favourites, Gronkjaer believes that his team has what it takes to beat the Blues.
"Obviously their squad is full of fantastic players and they play slightly the same way we do. So it's going to be a hard, physical game but luckily for us we're playing at home first. In our stadium, with the crowd behind us, we can get a result.
"We all know that they have had a dip in form but they still have a good team. What we also know is that [Chelsea owner Roman] Abramovich really wants to win the Champions League and as they have been drawn against us, the odds are that you think they have got an easy draw."
"We know at home we can get good results in front of an enthusiastic crowd. We've done well at home, we've also shown now that away from home we can also get results," he added.
Kobenhavn will take on Chelsea in an important clash that could even determine Carlo Ancelotti's future as the manager of Chelsea.
