The Belgian goalkeeper is expected to miss at least three games for Los Blancos in the next couple of weeks due to a muscular injury.

Real Madrid can't seem to get a break from their bad news streak, as Thibaut Courtois has added his name to Los Blancos' long injury list.

The Belgian player, who replaced Keylor Navas as Los Blancos' top-choice goalkeeper, was left out of the squad that will face Leganés in the first leg of their Copa del Rey matchup. His availability will be determined in the next few days, according to a press release issued in the team's website.

Courtois came down with a "grade I injury in the left iliac muscle", according to the team's medical report, which will initially leave him out for the next ten days. Aside from the game against Leganés, Courtois could miss the team's matches against Betis, Leganés and Sevilla.

The Belgian footballer will join Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos, Mariano, Marco Asensio and Marcos Llorente on the sidelines, as Real Madrid struggles to get back in form to battle for La Liga and the UEFA Champions League. As of now, Los Blancos are ten points behind Barcelona in the Spanish top flight, which means that the team needs their best players available to try and come from behind. Unfortunately for Solari, injuries have made his job even more difficult during the last couple of weeks.

The player sent a message to all of his fans on social media, trying to keep speculation to a minimum.
