The battle of Glasgow will take place on Sunday as Rangers travel to Celtic in a game with huge SPL title implications.
Celtic currently hold a five point lead at the top of the Scottish Premier League, but have played two more games than Rangers. Celtic will enter this game riding a 16 game unbeaten streak, while Rangers are unbeaten in their last six fixtures.

A lot of attention during this game will be centered on Rangers striker El Hadji Diouf and Celtic captain Scott Brown. Brown equalized in the recent 2-2 Scottish Cup draw between Rangers and Celtic, and immediately turned to celebrate in the face of Diouf.

Given the fact that Diouf has history that includes spitting on a Celtic fan, he can expect a rough ride from the Celtic Park faithful on Sunday.

Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra has backed his teammate to deal with a white hot reception at Celtic. “You see him in the last game” said the Algerian defender, “he is very professional and did not react.”

Thomas Rogne and James Forrest have recovered from injury and will be fit for Celtic. Shaun Maloney, Cha Du-Ri and Andreas Hinkel are all ruled out for the Hoops.

Steven Naismith and Nikica Jelavic will return for Rangers after sitting out the midweek Europa League draw against Sporting Lisbon. Jamie Ness is an injury doubt for Rangers, while Kirk Broadfoot is ruled out.
