Olympiakos eliminates Milan from the UEFA Europa League with 3-1 win

The Italian side needed to avoid a loss by a two-goal margin, but went on to concede all goals in a 30-minute window.

Everything seemed to be in place for Milan to battle for the UEFA Europa League title...but Olympiakos had something to say about it. 

The Greek side shocked Milan and defeated them with one of the scores the rossoneri needed to avoid, since a two-goal loss would kick them out of the competition. To make matters worse, Milan had done their homework correctly, but they ended up conceding three times in 30 minutes to see their luck running out.

This will also be a historic moment for Milan for all the wrong reasons.

The Italian side failed to end their hoodoo when playing in Greece, since they had played five games without any wins prior to this match. Today's loss adds to their previous four draws and a defeat, making it more complicated to defend Gennaro Gattuso's spot as their tactician.

There were fans and experts speaking about this game on social media, and everyone agreed that Milan got what they deserved after such a woeful performance.
