What is the form of Arsenal compared to Qarabag?

Arsenal has won four of their last five games in all competitions, one being a 3-0 Europa League victory over Vorskla. Unai Emery's side is unbeaten in their last 21 games and will be keen on extending that run.

As for Qarabag, they lost in Europe last time around, suffering a 6-1 thrashing at home to Sporting Club. However, that was their only defeat in their last six games (W4, D1).

Arsenal vs Qarabag head-to-head record

Their only previous encounter came in the reverse fixture. The Gunners won that tie, beating the Azerbaijanis 3-0.

Who are the players injured or suspended from Arsenal vs Qarabag?

The north London outfit will be without a number of defenders for this clash, as the likes of Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin), Rob Holding (knee), and Shkodran Mustafi (hamstring) are all out. Doubts linger over Saeed Kolasinac but Laurent Koscielny is set to make his return to the first team for the first time since May. Elsewhere, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil are both back, with the latter tipped to participate in Thursday's game.

The away side will be without Innocent Emeghara, with the striker set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Other than that, they have no other fitness concerns.

Key talking points?

Will Arsenal's youngsters maintain the unbeaten run?

Arsenal's unbeaten run currently stands at 21 games, with Lucas Torreira's late bicycle-kick goal against Huddersfield earning them a 1-0 win in their last game. Unai Emery has promised to give minutes to U23 players on Thursday, with a number of his key players set to be rested. Will the youngsters keep the momentum going ahead of a tricky trip to Southampton on weekend?

Can Qarabag end their awful form against English sides?

Qarabag has lost six of their last seven games in this competition. However, what is even worse is their record against English clubs. In five encounters, the Azerbaijanis are yet to win a single game and have conceded 17 times and have scored only once. While the numbers don't back their odds, Atlılar will give everything they got to end that run.
