L'Equipe reports that the Ligue 1 giant is ready to cash in on one of their two stars in fear of fresh FFP sanctions.

PSG's Financial Fair Play worries have come back to haunt them after Football Leaks brought forward damaging claims against the French club. This has UEFA sniffing around the team's finances once more, with L'Equipe stating that they may be forced to sell either Kylian Mbappe or Neymar.

The French tabloid states that the club is ready to cash in on one of their two biggest attackers if they are forced to balance the books by European football's governing body. While Les Parisiens are yet to hear back from UEFA on their decision, the Ligue 1 giant is reportedly prepared for the worst.

The league leaders would likely earn more money off of Mbappe, given his age, talent, and meteoric success for club and country. However, Man United is said to be interested in the Brazilian, with Real Madrid having also been linked with the Selecao ace.

However, PSG has moved swiftly to dismiss this report. The European giant issued a statement on Friday, discrediting the outlet's reporting, titled "L'Equipe, a media of disinformation".

"As well as denying in the strongest way possible these totally false claims that are also ridiculous and that have the sole aim of creating great tension between the club and this newspaper, PSG also ask once more about the intellectual honesty of L'Equipe and the hidden motives of their editorial line with respect to PSG," the club wrote.

"There are many examples of an unfair treatment where the objective is to spread a harmful atmosphere."

Faced with this orchestrated disinformation from L'Equipe and their tireless attempt to undermine their image, PSG - the most popular and successful club in France - reaffirm a desire to advance and to dialogue only with partners of good faith."

However, should the French giant be forced to balance the books or face sanctions, these rumors will likely return. It is not helped by the fact these Mbappe and Neymar are two world-class players linked with Europe's other elite clubs, namely Real Madrid. Tuchel's side will put up a fight, as the duo will be crucial in their quest to conquer the Champions League.
