Both footballers have already requested tickets to watch the game at Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will be at Santiago Bernabeu stadium to watch the second leg of the Copa Libertadores final...and they could do it together.

Reports from Spanish newspaper As revealed that CR7 and La Pulga will be in attendance to watch the all-important clash between the two Argentine clubs. What really stands out is how they managed to get tickets for the big game, and how Real Madrid's president wants to have a hand in sitting them side-by-side.

As revealed earlier today that Messi called the Royal Spanish Football Federation asking for tickets. Cristiano Ronaldo used his connections at Real Madrid to make sure he could be in attendance. As soon as he got word of this, Florentino Pérez granted both superstars a spot in Real Madrid's premium box, as a tribute to both players. Both CONMEBOL and the Spanish Football Federation agreed to provide special treatment for both footballing aces.

But first, both players will have to play with their respective teams this weekend. Cristiano Ronaldo will face Inter Milan on Friday, while Messi will lead Barcelona against Espanyol. It is believed that Messi will travel to Madrid on Sunday morning, while CR7 will spend the weekend in Madrid.

It is yet unclear which team they will be supporting. Messi is a Newell's Old Boys fan, while Cristiano Ronaldo has never shown allegiance to any of these clubs. Be that as it may, it will be interesting to watch if both of these titans sit together at the Bernabeu.
