CONMEBOL has already stated that the game will not be held in Argentina, but a venue is yet to be elected by the South American execs.

Miami, Asunción, Belo Horizonte and Doha are some of the cities that have shown interest in hosting the second leg of the Copa Libertadores final. But today, the Arabic city has come up with an offer that will be hard to turn down by CONMEBOL execs.

According to a report by TyC Sports, one of the cities that will host the 2022 World Cup has presented a massive bid to host the game between River Plate and Boca Juniors. What really stands out is the amount of money that the city is willing to put up in order to host this clash.

Doha will offer over $13 million dollars to host the controversial match. For starters, River Plate would be paid $2.5M for not being able to play the game at their home stadium. Meanwhile, Boca would be handed $2M for punitive damages after the game.

There would be a $7M prize to divide between both teams. 70% would go to the winner, while 30% would be awarded to the losing side. An extra million dollars would be awarded to the would-be champion, while the runner up will cash in an extra $250,000.

Added to that, each side will be awarded $750,000 to cover all travel an accommodation expenses.

There would be an added bonus for Doha to host the final, as the would-be hosts have told CONMEBOL authorities that they would allow fans for both teams into the stadium, which has been ruled out by both Paraguayan and Brazilian authorities.

The decision must be announced before the end of the week, since the game is scheduled to be played on December 8 or 9.
