Los Blancos are reportedly ready to stick with Argentine until the end of the season after their four straight wins.

Real Madrid will reportedly name Santiago Solari as their permanent boss after an upturn in fortunes since his appointment. This is according a report by ESPN which claims sources close to the Spanish FA state that the paperwork is already underway.

The Argentine took over at Santiago Bernabeu after the club sacked Julen Lopetegui after a dip in form. However, Solari, who had been the coach of the Castilla youth side, was only named as the team's interim boss.

According to the rules in La Liga, a temporary manager can only stay in charge for two weeks. That means the deadline for the 42-year-old must either return to his old job or be offered a permanent deal, with sources close to the RFEF claiming Los Blancos have opted for the latter.

Things have drastically improved in the four games Solari has been at the dugout. Bale and Co. triumphed in all of those games, the most recent being a 4-2 win over Celta Vigo.

Initially, Florentino Perez was adamant on looking elsewhere for a long-term solution. Antonio Conte had been heavily linked with the job, with Mauricio Pochettino then emerging as a favored target upon rumors that the players were not keen on the Italian gaffer.

Roberto Martinez and Leonardo Jardim were other names linked with the job, but the team's performance as of late has changed the opinion on Solari. He will now be named as the first-team boss for the Champions League holder until the end of the season.

This, though, does not mean he will remain at the helm for seasons to come. Nonetheless, he has helped the team return to winning ways. They are in sixth in the Spanish top-flight, only four points behind Barcelona, and are a single victory away from the Champions League round of 16.
