The Italian manager confirmed that his best striker will be available to play against the Serie A leaders.

The game between Milan and Juventus will see some players lock horns against some they called their team-mates recently. One of those players is Gonzalo Higuaín, and coach Gennaro Gattuso has stepped up to state that "Pipita" will play against the bianconeri on Sunday.

Speaking in today's pre-match presser, Gattuso admitted that the team's medical staff has cleared Higuaín to play despite not featuring for the rossoneri on Thursday's Europa League clash against Real Betis.

Being a hot-head himself, coach Gattuso will try to keep his stellar striker calm, even if he wants to make an impression against his former team, mainly fueled by how he left Turin this summer.

"He needs to stay clear-headed and be hungry, but not desperate. He can't do much on his own, he needs the team to work together. Considering the way he experiences matches, I urge him to stay calm, because he does get easily irritable," Gattuso stated.

The former pupil of Massimiliano Allegri admitted that the game between Manchester United and Juventus might give them an idea on how to attack the bianconeri, but they must be wary of their chances if they want to beat the current Serie A leaders.

"It depends on where we wait for Juve, as if we do it in the final third, we'll get hammered. Playing open and attacking football would be risky, so we have to decide where and how to wait for them to come at us," the former footballer added.
